  • Task data: Tasks, comments, and photos you create within the Service
  • Usage data: Basic usage information such as login times and feature usage to improve the Service

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain the Service
  • Send email notifications (task assignments, magic links, digests)
  • Process payments for your subscription
  • Improve and develop the Service
  • Communicate with you about your account

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only in these limited circumstances:

  • Within your family account: Task information is visible to members of your family account
  • Service providers: We use third-party services for email delivery (Brevo) and payment processing (Stripe), which receive only the minimum data necessary to perform their functions
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed PINs (bcrypt), and secure session management. While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your data within 30 days. Backups may be retained for up to 90 days for disaster recovery purposes.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your account and data
  • Export your task data
  • Opt out of non-essential email communications

7. Cookies

We use session cookies to maintain your login state. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies. The session cookie is essential for the Service to function and is automatically deleted when you close your browser or after 30 days of inactivity.

8. Children's Privacy

Mom List is designed for family use and may be used by children under the supervision of a parent or guardian who holds the account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. The account owner (parent/guardian) is responsible for managing family member access.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
